Tính đến ngày 31/12/2017, trên địa bàn tỉnh có 434 cơ sở khám chữa bệnh, với tổng số 3.989 giường bệnh. Trong đó, có 168 cơ sở thuộc Nhà nước quản lý (chiếm 38,70%) và 266 cơ sở thuộc tư nhân quản lý.

Tính đến 31/12/2017, số nhân lực ngành y trực tiếp tham gia công tác khám chữa bệnh là 4.846 cán bộ, trong đó có 1.648 bác sĩ; số nhân lực ngành dược là 1.289 cán bộ, trong đó có 242 dược sỹ có trình độ đại học trở lên.

Tỷ lệ xã/phường/thị trấn đạt tiêu chí quốc gia về y tế là 95,0%, tăng 12,5 điểm % so với năm trước; tỷ lệ này tại thành phố Vĩnh Yên, Phúc Yên và các huyện Tam Dương, Tam Đảo, Yên Lạc là 100%.

Năm 2017, có 15.930 ca mắc dịch bệnh, giảm mạnh so với năm trước; số người bị ngộ độc thực phẩm là 151 người; tỷ lệ trẻ em dưới 1 tuổi được tiêm chủng đầy đủ các loại vắc xin đạt 98,70%; tỷ lệ trẻ em dưới 5 tuổi suy dinh dưỡng chiều cao theo tuổi là 13,00%; tỷ lệ trẻ em dưới 5 tuổi suy dinh dưỡng cân nặng theo tuổi là 9,00%.

Năm 2017, trên địa bàn tỉnh đã xảy ra 44 vụ tai nạn giao thông, làm 36 người chết và 45 người bị thương. So với năm 2016, số vụ tai nạn giao thông năm 2017 giảm 2,2%, số người chết giảm 2,7%, số người bị thương giảm 32,8%. Trong năm đã xảy ra 31 vụ cháy, nổ, làm 1 người chết và 1 người bị thương, thiệt hại ước tính 7,9 tỷ đồng.

Trong năm, các cơ quan chức năng đã tiến hành khởi tố 1.046 vụ án, truy tố 875 vụ, kết án 856 vụ. Trong đó, khởi tố 1.625 bị can, truy tố 1.594 bị can, kết án 1.540 người phạm tội. So với năm trước, số vụ đã bị kết án tăng 11,74% và số người bị kết án tăng 10,18%.

Năm 2017, một số trận mưa lớn do ảnh hưởng của bão và hoàn lưu sau bão đã gây thiệt hại tới sản xuất và đời sống của dân cư, thiên tai làm 1 người chết, 2.133 ha lúa và 1.660 ha hoa màu bị hư hỏng.

IN 2017

As of 31^st December 2017, there were 434 health establishments in the province, with a total of 3,989 patient beds, of whichthere were 168 State health establishments (accounting for 38.70%) and 266 private health establishments.

The number of health staff directly involved in examination and treatment as of 31^st December 2017 was 4,846 persons, of whichthe number of doctor was 1,648; employees in the pharmaceutical sector were 1,289, of which 242 pharmacistspossessed at least bachelor degree.

The rate of communes/wards/towns meeting national health standard was 95%, jumped by 12.5 percentage points over the previous year; the rate in Vinh Yen town, Phuc Yen town and Tam Duong district, Tam Dao district and Yen Lac district was 100%.

In 2017, there were 15,930 epidemic infected cases, a dramatic fall against the previous year; the number food poisoned peoplewas 151 persons; the rate of infants vaccinated fully reached 98.7%; the rate of under-5 children with height-for-age malnutrition was 13%; the rate of under-5 children with weight-for-age malnutrition was 9.0%.

In 2017, there were 44 traffic accidents in the province, causing 36 deaths and 45 wounded. Compared to the figures of 2016, the number of traffic accidents, number of deaths and the number of wounded in 2017 dropped 2.2%, 2.7% and 32.8%, respectively.There were 31 fire and explosion casescausing 1 death and 1 wounded, with an estimated loss of 7.9 billionVND.

There were 1046 instituted cases, 875 prosecuted cases, 856 sentenced cases in 2017 of which 1,625 instituted people, 1,594 prosecuted defendants and 1,540 sentenced offenders. Compared to the previous year, the number of sentenced cases rose by11.74% andt he number of sentenced offenders increased by 10.18%.

In 2017, torrential rain caused by storms and their circulations had devastatingimpact on production and people’s life. Natural disasters caused 1 death, 1 wounded, 2,133 ha of paddy and 1,660 ha of crops damaged.
